    Power query Filter out non date / Select Date

    Hi,
    I have a table withe a column containing date and non date values loaded to power query I would like to
    remove the non date values.

    Workbook attached.

    I have tried ;

    but this only returns the rows above the first ERROR, This is the query called 'filter' in attachment, if someone can explain why it does not work.

    So Then I tried;

    The closest I've got is to use TransformColum, not type ;

    But I can't come up with how to do this for TRANSFORMCOLUMNTYPE , which would be better. Ideally I'd like to use the first example, but as I can't see why this does not work.

    yes this woks but I'm still adding columns,

    Returns the first rows correctly but then fails. this goes if you try Number.From ( [Date]) as well.

    As said the closeset I've got is

    But this still needs the column type transforming and I can't figure how to get 'try' into columtype

    it just ignores this. I'll leave this open and see if there are any more ideas.
