copy all items listed by title

    Hi,

i am trying to copy listed items from one sheet to another when the user selects an option, weekly, monthly, quarterly. I cant quite figure out the formula that would help me do this.
In the attached file I have a tab called helper 2023 2024 that lists locations by week, moth and quarterly. On the 2023 2024 tab I need to be able to select one of these options and have all the appropriate items come up in the column next to it.

    TIA

1700 rows is not a sample!! 10-20 rows is a sample.

Even setting that aside.... WHAT do you expect to see? WHERE do you expect to see it?

Re: copy all items listed by title

    Apologies for the large file

If someone selects weekly from drop down in column c of 2023 2024 sheet, I would like the data that is listed as weekly in helper 2023 2024 to populate column e, the same if monthly is selected and the same if quarterly is selected. I did an if statement to copy all the items if the weekly was selected, but as it spills i cant have any other formula in the column.

    Thank you

Re: copy all items listed by title

I have tried to solve myself as I understand that i have not explained it very well.
    Please see revised workbook attached.
In this I have tried using index and match to bring the required data from one sheet to another, but it only puts the data in the same cells then overwrites it when you change the criteria from Weekly to another one.

Please enter Weekly, Monthly or quarterly in A6 on 2023 2024 tab and it will bring data into column c and d. Can someone advise me on how I can keep that data there and repeat the function on the next blank space, or will this require VBA?

    Thank you in advance.

If you want to display the 6 monthly locations in E6:E13 and then change cell A6 to weekly and display those 18 locations in E14:E31 then I feel that you will need VBA.
