Lightbulb "My Posts" Page refresh rate

I gave it a quick search in this forum with no luck, but this morning I noticed that "My Posts" did not have a post that I had made around 5 minutes prior. It stated that the last report was generated 31 minutes ago.

I am not necessarily proposing increasing the current refresh rate, but perhaps whenever a post is created, the query could be run again? Or at least provide a button to do a manual refresh of the "My Posts" tab?

There's always a chance that it's just user error as well.

    Thanks,
    Parker Shaw

Possibly user error - where was the post in question made? My Posts will update each time you navigate to it.

Re: "My Posts" Page refresh rate

I have to use Advanced Search > search by my username to retrieve any of my posts from the last hour. (see the image below). I have made two posts since the report was generated 53 minutes ago. These posts do not show up under this tab.

OK - I'll pass this on to the tech team. It may take a day or two before I get anything useful from them, though. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It has started happening to me now, so there's something not right behind the scenes - the tech team is investigating.

It's probably worth mentioning that my "My Posts" has since updated. Not sure if it was after 60 minutes or what, but I could then see all my recent posts from this morning.

Re: "My Posts" Page refresh rate

I noticed today that when attempted to query My Posts again, I was told to wait. After the 30 seconds passed, I was able to retrieve my up to date list.

Should I mark this thread as solved?

Yes, please - there is database stuff going on (see the banner at the top of the page) that probably affected it.

Re: "My Posts" Page refresh rate

Another way of seeing your posts (or rather threads that you have contributed to) is to click on User CP and then on the button View All Subscribed Threads (on the right hand side), and then click on the appropriate one.

There is also a My Posts option on the dark blue menu bar near the top of the screen

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

Re: "My Posts" Page refresh rate

You have to be subscribed to threads to do that - if the OP has chosen not to subscribe, then it won't work.

It's the My Posts option from the menu bar that was playing up. I think it's related to the work going on in the background.

Re: "My Posts" Page refresh rate

Just noticed the User CP yesterday.

Honestly like it better than the My Posts User interface.

    Thanks everyone!
