    Hiring Excel expertise

I would like to hire an expert to review a complex spreadsheet and offer advice on improving it. I'd prefer to hire the person by the hour or similar and share access to the sheet not just snippets.
Is there a forum for that?
Is there a suggested market place to hire Excel experts?

    Hi William,

Yes there is a forum for that and it's called Commercial Services.

You should be aware, however, that the Commercial Services section is public and can be viewed by anyone, as can any links or attachments provided there.

You cannot pay someone by the hour - a payment for the project (which you have to specify in full) is agreed ahead of starting and you adjust the points offered to cover it. If extra time is needed, the helper will ask you to increase the points offered.

The person helping you in the Commercial Services section will be one of the senior members of the forum who has earned the privilege to answer questions there, and will be doing so in their free time.

Hope this clarifies the situation a bit for you.
