How do I create a signature block?

I can't see where I can create a signature block in 'My Profile'.

I want to do this so that I can tell people to contact me privately for more complex, time consuming solutions and to give details of my PayPal account so they can send payment for such solutions.

    Admins/Mods?

    Thanks in advance.

Please review the Forum rules. Note rules 4 and 5 specifically.

After reconsidering I've reopened this thread.

No. It doesn't take care of my original question. Not until I get exemption from rules 4 and 5.

Re: How do I create a signature block?

I think you miss my point.

It's not about my signature block or getting paid, it's about equitable application of the forum rules, of which I have been constantly reminded in the past.

I have brought an infraction to their attention. If nothing is done about it, we'll see how long it takes them to act when I do the same.

Sorry, that wont be happening. I dont see why you think you should be treated differently from the other 10's of thousands of members here.

So basically, your question has been answered, you will not be permitted to block your signature (even if that were possible), nor will you be permitted publicly - or privately - to ask for payment for questions you answer here.

In fact, jus by stating that you would be asking for payment for answers in the public forum is against rule 5, and further disregard of that rule could result in your membership here being reconsidered.

When was this? I can't find a reported post from you about this - can you point to the member who is currently infringing the rule so that we can deal with it, please?

Do try to keep up. I don't want payment, I don't want a signature block (really), I just want consistent application of the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: How do I create a signature block?

Please see your other thread on this.

If you would care to report infringements in the proper way, then we shall deal with them accordingly. We do our very best to be all-seeing, but do sometimes miss things (like a solicitation sneaking into a sig line), so we do rely on members flagging issues in the proper way (either via a PM to one of us or a post report). This one has now been dealt with pending the Admins' judgement.

Please try and remember (or at least refer above) to what you post. In your post 6, you stated you wanted
No. It doesn't take care of my original question. Not until I get exemption from rules 4 and 5.
My post was telling you quite clearly that you will not be getting any exemption from any rules - under any circumstances.

Also, you have been asked repeatedly to show which member/post/thread you state has infringed on the rules. If you cannot do that - or cannot be bothered to do that - then this discussion is at an end.

TMS's signature does not violate any rules.

If you believe someone is violating a rule, click Report Post. If you reported a violation and it has not been addressed, PM me with a link to the post.

I see no benefit to further discussion in this thread, so I'm closing it.
