    1 Per Page Pasting

    Hi All,

If I was to use Excel to generate a list of sequential numbers, how does one paste the list into Word, but have each entry pasted onto a separate page?

Say I put SKU1 (As an example) into Excel then drag it down to generate a list of 100 ending in SKU100, how can I paste this into Word but have each entry be pasted onto a separate page (Totaling 100 pages) which can then be printed onto a smaller label printer?

    Hi there,

I think the simplest way would be using mail-merge.

Generate your numbers in excel and save the file.
Open a new word document, go to Mailing in the top ribbon.
    Select; Start Mail Merge
Select; Labels, then the paper size (or if you use label-sheets select correct format)
Select Recipients, then Use an existing file; here you navigate to your Excel file with the numbers
Insert Merge Field, Available fields from your excel file will show. Select the Number and format it as desired.
Preview Result; then use the < x > arrows at the top to navigate through your pages. There should only be your merge field, one on each page.

Finish and Merge, print each page or generate document with numbers (100 pages).

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks for the reply.

I ended up simply pasting into the Word but keeping destination formatting which overrides existing data but it managed to paste 100 entries onto 100 pages perfectly!
