    Catalogue/Directory Mail Merge to Email

I've been following Macropod's excellent tutorial on how to send a catalogue/directory mail merge via email. I've got most of the way, but have hit a couple of stumbling blocks:

    1. The heading "Recipient" at the top of the EmailDataSource table keeps deleting itself. Without this heading the sending via email won't work as it gets as far as the last ".Execute" and falls over as it doesn't know where to find the email addresses. I stepped through the code and the heading gets created, but then deleted by the following ".Paragraphs(1).Range.Delete" line. Commenting this line out did fix it, but I wasn't sure if that was contributing to my other issue...

    2. The EmailDataSource table isn't merging all of the cells properly. Most of it is ok, but as you can see from the attachment, it isn't merging all the rows for a single vendor (i.e. everything that needs to be sent to that same email address). I've tried to have a look at what's causing it, but I'm afraid I can't get my head round that bit.

    Any help gratefully received!

    Many thanks

Re: Catalogue/Directory Mail Merge to Email

It turns out I was having a bit of a brain fart yesterday and had forgotten to make catalogue.docm a directory merge *facepalm*

    Now that I've done that....

    Problem 1 is still happening

Problem 2 has now gone to the other extreme and I'm now ending up with all of the records in a single row of the EmailDataSource table

    Any ideas?

EDIT: This seems to be the point as which problem 2 occurs...

EDIT2 - SOLVED!!!!! It was all down to the paragraph formatting in my catalogue doc. I set "spacing after" to 0 and this fixed it. Yay!
