Hey everyone!
I've compiled my fantasy football league history for a little while now. Unfortunately my method has not turned out very efficient. I have a sheet for every year starting with 2009 and up until 2014. I also have a master sheet where is takes the cumulative and or averages of all these sheets. These are all in tables, so when I try to sort on the master sheet if messes up all the numbers. I have all the sheets organized alphabetically and keep in members who are no longer apart of the league so I keep the problem of being able to drag formulas to a minimum. I tried to create pivot tables unsuccessfully.
Heres my question to you guys. What is the best way to take averages, totals etc from multiple sheets into one table where i can sort any field without it being affected. Am I creating the pivot table incorrectly? Should I not be using tables in my other sheet?
The fields included are; name, wins, losses, ties, win %, pf, pa, ppg, ppa, diff (avg), final standing, playoff appearance, playoff wins, playoff losses, playoff win %, championships, draft position,
These fields are the same in each sheet. Whats the best way for me to do this? Should I try to squeeze all the years on one sheet in 4 individual tables?
