How to create (what I assume is) an overlapping chart?

    Hi,

I've been asked to replicate a chart that is on the performance board but i'm struggling. I've attached an example of the data i'm working with and a rough idea of how I would like it to look. I think it needs to be an overlapping bar chart but i'm struggling to make it look the way I need.

The element that I'm struggling with is where the bar completely overlaps the other because it is larger. I need to create a chart where both elements are visible regardless of which year's sales were larger. I hope that makes sense but if you have any queries just give me a shout?

    Thanks in advance,

    Snook

It looks like what Jon Peltier calls a "clustered and stacked column" chart. See tutorial here and see if this is what you are looking for: http://peltiertech.com/clustered-sta...mn-bar-charts/

Try to shift your data a little bit.
