Plotting two sets of data with different dates on same line chart (Excel 2010)

Hello everyone,

I have two sets of data with two different sets of dates:

I am trying to plot both sets of data on the same line chart but am having issues with what to select for the x-axis (the date axis) in Excel. Right now I am selecting the Unit 5 Tip Up as the date axis:

And the chart comes out like this:

However, as can be shown in the chart, the unit 3 data is not lining up with the date axis as I am selecting unit 5 date axis as the reference. Can someone please offer some guidance how this can be achieved? This might be very rudimentary, but for some reason, I cannot figure it out.

The whole table not just column b. Might be easier if you post the workbook.

Here's how to do this in a line chart.

Set up your data as shown, in one table. No need to sort by date, since Excel's line chart date axis does that automatically.

Insert a line chart (top chart). Edit the data, click on Hidden and Empty Cells at the bottom of the dialog, choose Connect Points With Line or Interpolate (bottom chart).
