Next Date unique distance in X Axis instead of scale by date

Hello Friends

Please find the attached excel <Chart next Date unique distance.xlsx>

Kindly refer the sheet `Chart1' , dates are plotted in scale values.

But I want the next occurance should be uniform X axis distance instead automatic date scale.

Note : In my excel software / file I could not find the version of excel file.

If I right click on X Date (Date) and select `Format Axis' then the `Foramt Axis' dialog box is dispalyed, but in your file It have 3 radio buttion options like

Axis Type: * Automatically select based on data, * Text axis, * Date axis

But in my file that option is not displayed. So kindly little bit elloborate how to get these options.

1) to 3) i did as per your info.
If i did the 4) then again Axis type `text' in Column Chart is changed to `Date' in X-Y axis, again i tried it manually then the option is not there.

I am using Excel 2010 version.

Instead of X-Y Scatter i used the Line with Markers chart and works fine, refer the attached file.
