Reset or Sort filter pull downs on a pivot table

I have a workbook in which I use pivot tables to query a data worksheet. (See attached, Ops pivot tab). The problem comes because I misspelled "expense" as "expence" in the Class column when I created the data worksheet. (I know, DUH!) Please note the filter pull down for the Class Row Label on the pivot table on the Ops pivot sheet. I have two issues. 1) After correcting the misspelling on the data worksheet, I am not able to expunge the misspelling from the pull down for "Class" row label on the pivot table. 2) I would also like to resort the options in the same pull down.

Although I would much prefer the ability to resort the list on the pull down, completely recreating the table fixed the resorting issue but not the "expence" problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess a little more research was in order before querying the forum.

I have found several options for clearing the list.

1. Right-click a cell in the pivot table
2. Click on PivotTable options
3. Click on the Data tab
4. In the Retain Items section, select None from the drop down list.
5. Click OK, then refresh the pivot table.

The other is a simple missed step on my part. You manually remove the Row Label from the pivot table. Then with the row label removed, refresh the pivot table. Finally, reinsert the row label. I missed the refresh with the row label removed.
