Newbie help needed with Pivot Table / Calculated Field

    Hi,

I am working on a file with excel that includes a pivot table and need some help. The chart is used to count how many sales we have won or lost through our partners. The image attached shows the pivot table. Right now, the pivot table organizes the data by date quarter and lists each partner and whether they won, or lost.

What I would like to do is calculate a win percentage and percentage based on the 'Grand total' wins divided by based on the grand total amounts regardless of the options select in the Pivot table (one customer or all customers).

For example, in this screenshot, the total number of wins is 6, the total (includes won, lost) number of opportunities is 7. So 6 divided 7 is .85714286 or 85% if rounded off.

I read a few other posts and searched the web, and it seems like a calculated field could work, but when I try to set one up it does not allow me to select the grand total fields that sum up the 'Won', 'Lost, 'Grand Total' fields. I thought I came across that calculated fields cannot use counts - is that what these are? Apologies as I am not an expert in Excel and would appreciate any guidance.

Can't actually see the image you refer to?

It's much more useful if you can attach a spreadsheet with a few rows of "fake" data, with your Pivot table showing what it gives you now, and alongside that what you would like it to do.

A calculated field won't work here because you are using Count and calculated fields always sum the data. You'd need to add an additional column to the source data with a 1 in it so that you can sum it.
