When I open your file I see two lines - a blue one for CPU and an orange one for MEM.

I opened the new file, pulled up the source data dialog, and noted that both data series are referring to the exact same data. So, you have a chart with two lines, but both lines are the same so you cannot see them both.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. If I had to guess, you are trying to chart "license" data separate from "tcp..."data, is that correct? If so, I would use a strategy similar to the usual strategy for "conditional formatting" charts: http://peltiertech.com/conditional-f...-excel-charts/ Have the helper columns set up to identify which column the data belongs in, then use these helper columns in the chart.

    Hi MrShorty,
Yes your understanding is correct. I do not know how to plot two graphs and thats why I just have same data for both as trial. But if you look the sheet, the CPU usage is different for license.exe and tcpserver.exe.
So I need a line for tcpserver.exe and other line for license.exe
I had browsed thru the blog you are referring but could not fix this out as in my case both conditions are in same column.
If you can help it will be great.

Did you study the specific page I linked to, and did you understand how he created the helper columns for each data series? Because that is exactly what I would do here:

    1) Put "license.exe" and "tcpserver, exe: at the top of two helper columns
    2) Enter a simple IF() function to extract the appropriate values into the appropriate columns. Be sure to pay attention to relative and absolute references when you put this formula together, and it will be easy to copy.
    3) Create chart.

Re: Hi need help to draw a line chart having two lines of data

You can put these headings in N1 and O1:

    license.exe ..... tcpserver.exe

Then you can use this array* formula in N2:

    =IFERROR(INDEX($I:$I,SMALL(IF($L$2:$L$31=N$1,ROW($L$2:$L$31)),ROWS($1:1))),"")

and copy this down until you get blanks. Copy the formula across into O2, and copy that one down. Then you can use this summary table as the source for your graph, as shown in the attached file.

    Hope this helps.
