Control Charting Data Range

Hi there,

I have a data that looks like this:

And this data is presented in a lot of different graphs.

What I would like to be able to do is specify a start and end month, and have all the graphs update to show the requested date period.

I expect that in my charts in place if the column reference it would be replaced with some kind of variable, and I'd control that variable somewhere else, so all charts update like magic? Any suggestion on the simplest way to do this, or am I on the wrong track?

I've done some googling and my head is sore. I feel defeated.

If your data were transposed, so that the dates were going down and "Values" were going across, then a simple filter should do what you want. http://www.wikihow.com/Use-AutoFilter-in-MS-Excel Charts linked to a filtered list usually only display the visible data, so if you can filter the data by date range (which should be easy enough using the Autofilter dropdowns), the charts should respond accordingly.
