Specific labels on excel chart

hi

is it possible to label specific points in a chart? so for example i want to tag week 25 when brexit vote happened can i tag that by selecting week 25 in the chart? or is it a manual process?

What sort of chart do you mean?

One way of displaying events over a timeline is to use a combination graph where a Line represents the usual metrics & a Bar chart with a subtle colour sits in the background showing that event.

Thanks for getting back to me and the suggestion. I'm using a combo chart already and would also need to include other events, not just brexit.

Exactly how do you want to highlight or mark or label these points?

I could see using custom data labels https://support.office.com/en-us/art...9-e8109fdc1613 then follow the link to the "change the look...." help page.
