2011 pivot chart help!

Hi,

I'm running 2011 excel.

I need to show a chart based on a number of pre-selected parameters (i.e. between selected dates, certain products, certain shops selling those products)

What is the best way to go about creating this?

Ideally, I'd like a form where the user can select their parameters, and then a button to say 'run chart'. Is VBA the best way about going about this?
