How to create a wheel calculator using Excel?

We are trying to create a colour wheel that will have answers at the center of the wheel decided by a combination of colours at the outside of the wheel. inner11.jpg center11.jpgouter11.jpg thumbnail_IMG_2103.jpg

I have cut out columns as an example to help me think about how the wheels would interact. Could we use excel to help us understand the layout of the center? Thanks any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps the attached will be of some help.
The first row represents the outer ring where the values of the colors and spaces between colors is constant.
The second row represents the middle ring. Cell B2 is populated using data validation based on cells P2:P11. The remainder of the second row is populated using: =INDEX($P2:$P19,MATCH(B2,$P2:$P19,0)+COLUMN($A:$A))
The third row represents the inner ring and is populated in the same manner as the second row.
The fourth row represents answers and is populated using:

Note that I don't know what you would be looking for as answers, only that based on the photo of the wheel it seems that if either the middle or inner wheel has a gray space aligned with one of the colors on the outer wheel then there is no answer shown.
