Axis labels not updating on chart created from table

I have created a chart from a table in Excel 2016. I need this to be dynamic, and update when new information is added to the table.
The x-axis has multiple labels, and the chart does not contain all of the columns in the table.
If I add new row in the table, the data is populated on the chart, but the x-axis labels are blank (please see attached example sheet).
If I include all of the table columns in a chart, the axis labels seem to update ok, but the real table is quite large, and I don't want to display all the data on one chart.

Could you please advise what I can do to fix this? I know that I can use offset with named ranges to create the dynamic chart, but I'm wondering if there is a way to make this work just using a table. Many thanks.

You could create a name, say ChartLabels, defined as: =Table1[[Area]:[Time]] and then use that name for the axis labels.

I'm not sure why the labels don't work with multiple columns - seems like a bug to me.
