I am a little confused whether they are different or it is a matter of functionality overlap.
I watched online tutorials for merging data from 2 or more tables for analysis. They recommend loading queries into the Data Model and then create relationships.
However, in my instance I already have pivot tables, and the pivot table itself actually offers to create a relationship.
Are relationships which can be created via Pivot tables use the same built in functionality as Relationships via the Data Model?
Or in other words: do I need to bother creating data model first and then pivot tables? Or can I make relationships directly via pivot table interface if I already have pivot tables made?
