    Sorting a pivot chart

I have a simple pivot line chart which shows a value per month for each of seven regions over a 12 month period.

I'd like to rank the lines in order of regions by the least % drop in the most recent month.

I can't see how a calculated field would be applicable in this case.

Grateful to know if this is even possible and if it is how I would go about it?

    Thank you

    Re: Sorting a pivot chart

Reformat your data in a database format by 3 columns: Date, Region & Value

Insert PivotTable with Date in Columns area, Region in Rows area and Value in Values area of the PivotTable Fields

Pull Value to Values area a second time
    > change to Show Values As
    > % of Difference From
    > Base Field: Date, Base Item: (previous) > OK

Click funnel icon in Region (cell K3)
    > More Sort Options
    > Descending (Z to A) by: %
    > More Options
    > Values in selcted column: $S$4
    > OK > OK

    Thank you for the reply.

How would I then omit the % values from the chart?

    Re: Sorting a pivot chart

    Low-tech proposal.
    1. Produce a second pivot table from the yellow data range
Note that the second pivot table could be moved out of sight for asthetic purposes.
    2. Produce a slicer that is connected to both pivot tables
    3. Produce the pivot chart from the second pivot table
Note that filtering the pivot chart by the field in the slicer will filter also filter the original pivot table.
