How can I change the labels on a line graph?

I want to create a simple graph to help me manage my vehicle use. I have put the data in, highlighted it and inserted a line graph. All's well so far but Excel is not putting the years in on my X axis. How can I do this, please? I can't see how attached my file so that you can see it!

Thanks, the graphs that you have sent me look great. How did you add the year dates and how did you get the slanty year numbers in on the MoT graph?

Can I add some sort of "predictive" line in so I can forecast future dates?

Right-click the axis and then click the Edit button in the right part of the window. Enter cell references with years.

For the other question, try deleting the Legend and see what happens.

What do you mean by "predictive line"?

What I mean by "pedictive" is that I would like to be able to estimate what mileage I might cover in the future weeks, months or years. With the data I have, can I put in a date in the future and have Excel calculate an estimated mileage?

Try scatter chart where you can play around until the desired years, added prediction for 2024 and 2025, enable Display Equation on Chart.

My English is "basic" and I wouldn't be able to explain what to do.
The best thing I can suggest, especially with Graphs, is to try and try again, obviously on a copy of the file.
