A filtered table where the totals don't disappear or get filtered with the data

    Hi there

    I hope you are well!

I have a table of data that has filters at the top and a totals row at the bottom. The problem I am experiencing at the moment is that when the data is filtered the totals either disapear or get filtered to the top of the table. I am trying to work out how the totals can not get filtered and stay at the bottom of the table when the data gets filtered.

I have attached a spreadsheet with the data table in and more information. Please feel free to give it a go!

    Thanks

    Mike

If you turn the auto filter off. Insert a blank row between the last value and the totals line. Turn the auto filter back on. Now when you filter, the totals line should appear at the bottom as it is not part of the range that is being filtered.

this works but it still totals all the values. Ideally I would like it just to sum the values that are filtered. any thoughts?
