    Named ranges in dynamicl plots

    Hi everyone,

I have a dynamic scatter plot with named ranges in the X and Y series like this:

(these named ranges use offset and count formulas...)

but everytime i make a copy of this sheet the plot in the copied sheet assume the range in the previous sheet and not the function names so that the dynamic feature no longer works, the series formula in the plot appears like this:

although in the name manager appears a new function name referring to the copied sheet...

how can i solve this issue?

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have

That's how it works, call it a bug call it a feature.

So all you can do is redefine the series formula manually or with code.

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your answer!

I guess it's another fine feature from MS.

Can i ask you for some guidance in how to implement this changes in series formula by code? i'm thinking in changing it by pressing a command button, but i think i can manage the button part.

    Thanks again

In this example "$C$3:$C$5" is the range of values and "MyData" is the name range
