Dynamic pivot filer

I have a data set that revolves around each data item's date begin, date end or no date, so I set up some pivot tables to quickly pull out any items that are not dated correctly. Periodically each item in the data set needs to have its date changed/removed/added. When this happens it would be great if the Pivot tables I set up would automatically reflect this. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I have to go back to the pivot table and manually check the date corresponding to the changed item in the data set.

Does anyone have any idea of how to dynamically/conditionally filter my pivot tables? Consider my frown turned upside down should anyone be able to help me.
