Gantt chart showing Start and Finish Date

Hi there!
My first ever question here as i am a new guy here, and have very limited excel experience. I was asked to build a gantt chart in excel that will show the start of an activity, add the duration to that date, and show the finish date at the end of the bar. A coworker was trying to help me with this, but could not figure out how to show the end date at the end of the visual bar on the chart. I have attached what i have. Is there a tutorial somewhere that will show me how to do this. I searched for quite awhile and didn't see any posts that i thought met my requirements.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As his spreadsheet did not show the finish dates, he deleted it after sending me the capture of the original. I have attached a sample of the info i have for the gantt chart.

This is great, and looks like something that would be very useful to me in the future. Maybe it isn't a gannt chart that i need, as this isn't what i'm looking for. I need a chart using the info that i have, that shows the start date shown on the bar chart to the left of the bar, the bar, and the finish date shown on the bar chart to the right of the bar. The sample picture of my co-workers chart is what i am trying to accomplish but i also need it to show the finish date on the right side of the bar. Being so new to this, i'm not sure if i am explaining this correctly, i apologize for being so unclear.

He retrieved the file when he got back to the office and sent it to me. This is the original chart he had created with the info i sent to you. I don't know how to even begin disecting these things to try and figure out how to do what i want.
