Hi all
I hope, this time my post title is concise and explicit.
I found a lot of conditional formatting similar to what I need but none so complex, so I tried to apply a conditional formatting based on the value of another cell with multiple conditions.
I will try to explain.
In column D I have a list of types. A list of 61 total different types, that can appear as duplicates and not in order.
For each type in column D, I have 4 different values in 4 different columns E,F,G and H.
The column where I want to apply conditional formatting is column D in the following form:
If D2 =1 and meets the conditions applied for Val 1 (column E2) - than D2 should become color yellow; If D2 =1 and meets the conditions applied for Val 1 & Val2, than D2 should become light green ; If D2 =1 and meets the conditions for Val 1&Val2& Val3, than D2 should become green; and lastly...if D2=1 and meets the conditions for Val 1&Val 2& Val3& Val4...it should turn red.
If D2 =2 and meets the conditions applied for Val 1 (column E2) - than D2 should become color yellow; If D2 =2 and meets the conditions applied for Val 1 & Val2, than D2 should become light green ; If D2 =2 and meets the conditions for Val 1&Val2& Val3, than D2 should become green; and lastly...if D2=2 and meets the conditions for Val 1&Val 2& Val3& Val4...it should turn red... AND SO ON FOR ALL 61 TYPES.
On the right I have an example of conditions that each column ( VAL1, VAL2, VAL3 & Val 4) have to meet.
NOTE : Each TYPE (1-61) has different conditions to meet for each VAL (even if in the table is not).
I'm sure it's not easy even for someone with good knowledge of excel, and practically impossible for me to solve something like this.
Thanks in advance.
