Search for a text string and return given text string to adjacent cell

    Hello,

I am looking for a formula where it will look for a string if found then return another alphanumeric string to the next cell.

    For example.

    I have values like

    Mike in cell B2 then in C2 it return m - 1000
    Jack in cell B3 then in C3 it return J - 2000

I hope I have given correct explanation.

    But the names keep changing.
