Formula to Group analytical data imputed daily into daily weekly and monthly analysis.

    Hey Guys

I am not very proficient with excel so if anyone does answer, please bear this in mind.

I am trying to create a separate table on the same sheet using the information on production and sales for my friends company. This table would allow us to group the daily information and provide a daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly or yearly analysis.

During my google searches, I found someone who has done something similar, (might even have been from this forum) but I am simply not clever enough to put it into practise.

can anyone explain how I can achieve this in the most beginners terms possible please?

I have attached my document along with an example of what I want in sheet 2.

    Thanks

    Desperately drowning in excel.

Thank you sandy666. I've never seen that approach before. Wonder why it doesn't load in the post.
