Countifs or Sumifs

Dear All,

I'm facing a problem with a formula, which is the following:

on the attached file, Spreadsheet "Funcionarios", Cell "C185" marked yeallow, I want to sum the different names within the I2:I163 from the "Empresa G1:H1" range 2:163 that contains "S.T. & S.F. PUBLICAÇÕES, Lda." or A185 but all formulas are giving me #VALUE or ERROR...

Did you commit with Ctrl+Shift+Enter ?

How about:

=SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(IF($G$2:$G$163=$A185,MATCH($I$2:$I$163,$I$2:$I$163,0)),ROW($I$2:$I$163)-ROW($I$2)+1),1))

...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.
