All,
I don't know if I'm just having a series of brain farts today or what, but unbelievably I'm stumped again. I've tried pivot tables and manipulated them several different ways among several other things and I can't get the desired effect.
Here's my end goal: Have a chart, a stacked column chart (boss' request), that depicts defects by total versus Q3-16 (this time, I'll need to do it for Q4-16 next time). So in the attached example, there would be a total thus far of 12 "to be determined" 7 of which occurred in Q3-16. So ideally it would show a column reaching 12 and 7 of that column being Q3-16.
I've tried several different pivot table combinations to try and make this happen and I can't seem to get it to work.
So I figure either I am missing something simple when setting up the pivot table, or there is something about my Table that isn't allowing me to achieve my desired result. The table can be adjusted or added on to with some exceptions, but I'll take suggestions regardless and deal with them.
I'd want my PivotTable and Chart (pivot or otherwise) on a separate sheet from the two already existing sheets.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
