Hi!
I have a spreadsheet with a drop down box in cell E1 with the Quarters in it, i.e., QTR 1, QTR 2, QTR 3, QTR 4
In cell F1, I want the months corresponding to the appropriate quarter.
BUT OUR QUARTERS ARE FISCAL, so QTR 1 = Aug-Nov, QTR 2=Dec-Feb, QTR 3=March-June, QTR 4=July-Aug.
Is there a way to auto populate cell F1 for the months in the quarter based on the contents in cell E1 with the drop down box indicating the quarter?

How is August a member of both QTR 1 AND QTR 4 ?

Try putting this formula in F1 on the Daffy Duck sheet
=VLOOKUP(E1,Lists!$G$1:$H$4,2,0)
