Hi guys,
I've created a spreadsheet in sheets and although I know I can simply download it in .xls format, some of it's formulas that were working in sheets don't work in excel anymore.
Are google formulas different from excel?

Sorry, I'll have to BUMP this
At the basic "spreadsheet" level, no. All spreadsheets in A1 notation use the same kind of notation and formula structure. To the extend that different spreadsheets have the same functions (SUM, COUNT, etc.), they are usually compatible.
That said, I know that there are differences between spreadsheet programs. Some have different built in functions. For example, I still sometimes miss the built in LINTERP() function in Quattro Pro that is not available in Excel. I know that Google sheets has a few functions that Excel does not have.
Different spreadsheets also tend to handle "array formulas" differently, which can make them incompatible with the way that Excel does array formulas.
Different spreadsheets will also have different ways of doing charting, pivot tables, and similar utilities.
From there, I don't know if there is much specific that can be said without knowing specifically what formulas you hvae that work in sheets but that don't work in Excel.
