Question Using the IF function, but displaying the result of a formula

Hey, I am need to use the IF function, or something similar, but I need the IF TRUE= value to be the result of a different formula. Unfortunately, the IF function only seems capable of displaying words or numbers, and won't actually use the formula, but instead, it just displays the formula in the sheet.

    Can anyone help?

Perhaps, if you explained in more detail with specific examples, we here may be able to offer up a viable solution. Also, attaching a sample worksheet helps us to solve your issue more quickly as we can actually see what is happening. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about. Hope this clears it up a bit. Notice that the highlighted cell shout be showing the value from the formula, but is instead just displaying the formula.

Change your if statement to the following and advise if it works. I have not tested as you did not provide a worksheet.

=if('10YearBreakdown'!D24>0,0,E6*.55/37970). By surrounding the formula in quotation marks " ", you have made the insertion text.
