Conditional formatting - highlight cell value based on high, low, midpoint

It seems like what I'm trying to do should be very simple, but I can't find a solution. I have a column with values that range in value between two (low and high) values on another sheet. I want the value with the format to be colored with a shade that ranges between the low and high values, i.e. green for low and red for high and if in the middle somewhere a shade between those two colors. The green - yellow - red color scale seems like the right option, but it appears that's supposed to be used to compare values of surrounding cells (which I don't care about). I'll try to explain below with an example.

Format column - value (expected color)
    0 (green)
    50 (yellow)
    100 (red)
    80 (light red)
    25 (light green)
    65 (orange)
    etc.

    Different sheet
    Low value
    0

    High value
    100

Any help would be much appreciated!
