Please assist. I am looking for a formula that would compare data in column A to data in column B.
If data cannot be found in column B, populate column C with unique data from column A.

Maybe:
...confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer.

Sometimes in a few cases. When you use array formulas, you can use INDEX before ARRAY CALCULATE and your fomulas will become NORMAL FORMULAS:
