Vehicle Maintenance Schedule

I am trying to create a vehicle Maintenance Schedule for some Heavy Equipment. The schedule should run as follows:

Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 2
Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 3
Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 1
Type 4 and than start over.

This is based on Hrs. Type 1 should be done every 50 HRS. Type 2 every 250 Hrs. Type 3 every 500 Hrs and type 4 every 750 Hrs.

I am trying to create the sheet so it will tell me what service should be next. I have the sheet all set up, just looking for a formula that could do this.

Cheers,

Re: Vehicle Maintenance Schedule

Attach a sample workbook.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

Re: Vehicle Maintenance Schedule

I hope the attachment comes thru. First time on this site.

I am able to get the "Last Service" with a formula. I just want the formula to figure out what the next service is supposed to be based on previous information following a pattern.

The actually work sheet that I have contains 50 pieces of equipment. It would be great, if I could just copy and paste the Formula where I need it.

Cheers,

Re: Vehicle Maintenance Schedule

What is the sequence based on, the vehicle ID or the distance/value?
How would you manually do the next set?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Re: Vehicle Maintenance Schedule

The sequence is based on the hours the equipment has.

Type 2 would be at a thousand once the service is done. The next set would be Type 1 1 (1050Hrs), Type 1 2(1100Hrs), Type 1 3(1150Hrs), Type 1 4(1200Hrs), Type 3 (1250Hrs),

There are always 4 Type 1 services in between a Type 2, Type 3 or Type 4.
