Percentage and amounts adjust accordingly, total percentage should always be 100%

Hi, I am new here in the forum, I have a predicament that I can't get over my head. It maybe a quick solution for you guys.

I have 2 columns, each of these columns represents a percentage and a dollar amount. User can only put in a value between 0 and 100% in the percentage

want to be able to change the percentage in any of the cells or delete percentage value and have the percentage be redistributed to the other cells to total to 100% and automatically adjusts the corresponding $ amount and vice-versa on the $ amount to a percentage.

Notes:

- Total $ amount is user input as well as the percentage for every row as long as it is equal to 100%

- if I change the percentage or $ amount of the second row, it should compute for the percentage or $ amount that is equivalent to the percentage or $ amount I entered. And it adjusts the other cells accordingly to still equal to 100 %

If you are using formulas, what you are describing would require a separate input area and display area. If you are using macros, this can all be done in the same area, but you would need to post this thread in the correct forum requesting help for VBA and Macros.

Would you be opposed to separating the input area from the display area? How would it adjust accordingly? Suppose you increase that 5% (on the second row) to 10%. Should the other six percentages each decrease by 5%/6? You need to come up with specific instructions.
