    INDEX formula to only pull visible cells

    I would like to pull only the visible cells in my index formula. See below and attachment (having trouble attaching on the post so will attempt to post the file soon) for details.

    I would like cells B10, D10 and F10 to only pull data from visible cells. I already have the successful INDEX formula in there and just need help using the SUBTOTAL function within this formula.

    So for instance B10 right now is showing Project #1 but should really be showing Project #5 as shown on the Initiatives Status tab.

    Note: The filtered column is column O.

    Thank you.

    Re: INDEX formula to only pull visible cells

    I'm still having trouble uploading the file. How do I do this? When I click on the paper clip a small white horizontal box pops up with nothing in it...

    To attach a file to your post,
    click advanced (next to quick post),
    scroll down until you see "manage file",
    click that and select "add files" (top right corner).
    click "select files" find your file, click "open" click "upload" click 'done" bottom right. click "submit reply"

    Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
    You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

    @Ford,

    The OP has the same question posted in the commercial services forum with an answer already provided.

    Not sure if this should be closed and the points awarded in the commercial services.
