How do I make a cell that contains a formula but is empty turn a different colour.

    Hi everyone,

I'm trying to automate our rotas at work and need some help.

I would like to be able to make it so that if there is no one due in and therefore there is a shift that needs filling the cell turns yellow (it will have a formula in the cell that pulls names from the main rota but it will just show as empty as there is no one due in). I originally tried ISBLANK but obviously that doesn't work as there is actually a formula in the cell and I can't seemt to find a way of doing it using conditional formatting. Does someone know how to do it?

    Thanks!

Maybe something in Conditional Formatting like = cell-ref=""
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
