    Payroll forecast using start and stop date as well as potential raise date

    Hi,

    I need to create a Payroll Forecast for 2019 using the following information: start salary, raise (new salary), raise effective date, stop date (all dates are end of month only).

    For every person I need formula that will do the following:
    - check if there is stop date for that person,if yes $0 from that month, if not take start salary and divide with 10
    - check if there is a potential raise for that person, if yes take new salary and divide by 10

    I do not know how to create a formula that can work in the following scenario: start salary until March, in March raise to $X, stop date in September so $0 until the end of the year.

    Could you please help.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best,
    Boris

    If you entered 1/3/19 into D5 {raise}, and 1/9/19 into E5 {term date} then your calculation would be:

    I am assuming the /10 is to account for related "on-costs" {tax, pension etc}

    Thank you so much for your help, formula works perfectly.

    And yes, /10 gives close approximation of fully loaded payroll numbers.

    Boris
