How to make a section scrollable

    Dear Excel Wizards,

I am an absolute newbie to this and have 0 skills with it. I downloaded a template for a project plan, but would love to use it for habit tracking.
    The file is attached.

When scrolling the bar on the upper right corner, it only scrolls the dates of the year which is amazing, but I would like it to also scroll the cells underneath each day so that they correlate.
Right now, only the days scroll towards the left, but the cells underneath, which I gave check boxes, stay where they are.

If I do a habit today and scroll to the next day, it will appear as if I had already done it.

Can you help me with that?

Kindest regards and thanks in advance

    C

Maybe you are looking for freeze panes.

    window => insert panes.

in this case column A:G and row 1 :9 will always be on the window.

    See the attached file.
Notice my main language is not English.

I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

Re: How to make a section scrollable

    Hello,

Thank you, but I think I did not explain properly what I meant.

I mainly want G10:G48-BG10:BG48 to stick together that when I scroll everything scrolls to the left, except of course, the tasks on the left.

    I hope that helps.

Or did I misunderstand your answer?

Set your cursus in K10 and scroll to the right.

The data till J is fixed.

The data till row 9 is fixed.

Please reply if this is what you expect.

    HI Oeldere,

First off, thank you very much for taking the time to help me.

I attached two examples...the original before I tempered with it and the one you uploaded where I marked in pink which parts I want to stick together.

I noticed that in the original, they do stick together, but as soon as I write in one of the cells, that text stays and does not scroll.
Maybe there is some special function or form integrated in that sheet.

"I noticed that in the original, they do stick together, but as soon as I write in one of the cells, that text stays and does not scroll."

In which cell of the Original you add data?

And if I drag the cursor to the right, the data disappears on the left side of the window.
So in the Original file is no freeze panes.

Probably I don't understand what you trying to achieve.

Re: How to make a section scrollable

I want to add date on the right of the tasks (on the day which is marked in orange) and continue to do so each day.
I would like to have those cells with text and checkboxes (which I added n the marked version already) also move to the left and disappear so that I have fresh check boxes each day marked by the orange column and I can scroll back and forth to see my progress.

    I hope that was clear.

So the data would be in cells G10:G48-BG10:BG48 (after a while) and be linked to the scrolling days above them. I don't want just the days scroll, but all the cells underneath with them.

The problem: Once I put check boxes or text in them, they stay while the days above keep scrolling.

Re: How to make a section scrollable

    Hi,

Thanks again for your amazing patience. I did mark the cells in the file "marked version" in my post from yesterday at 1.48pm.

I would like this as a block to scroll to the left - columns G through BG and rows 10 through 48. They are all marked in pink.
Right now, just G10 till BG10 scroll to the left.
