Three-letter combination into 1 to 10 characters

Please forgive me for this amateur question in advance.

I have 3 letters, A, B & C. I want to find out how many combinations can I make from 1 to 10 characters using these 3 letters.

Say: AAAAAAAAAA, AAAAAAAAAB, AAAAAAAAAC etc.

Where AAAAAAAAAC = AAAACAAAAA = ACAAAAAAAA. (This set is equally the same because of the occurence of a single C)

or say AAAB = ABAA = BAAA

or say BBBC = BCBB = CBBB

or say AB = BA, CB = BC, or AC = CA

or say AAB = ABA = BAA or CBB = BCB = BBC

From 1 to 10 characters.

How do I populate my rows with these combinations?

Open blank query in the editor, launch Advanced Editor and paste in the following code.

If you just want the count of unordered samples with replacement ("n multichoose k"), it's

=COMBIN(n + k - 1, k)

E.g., for 10-character strings of three symbols,

=COMBIN(10 + 3 - 1, 3) = 220

One last thing, is there any way I can increase/decrease the maximum number of characters I need?

And how do I sort this such that it will appear as alphabetically and also from the least number of characters to the highest?

Say in a 1 to 3 characters of ABC it will be:

A
AA
AAA
B
BA
BAA
BB
BBA
BBB
C
CA
CAA
CB
CBB
CC
CCA
CCB
CCC

Add Character list at Column C, change maximum number in E2 , then right click and refresh

Thank you for finding time to even explain each formula in the Macro. Very helpful. Is there a way I can sort out the list as mentioned in the example above? I'd be happy even just to sort it out with that criteria without Macro.
