I have created an Index Match formula within a single sheet successfully, but when I try to put that same formula into a separate sheet and target the array in the previous sheet, it doesn't work.
It's as though it doesn't recognise the array anymore, because it's in a different sheet to where the formula now sits. Is there a simple way around this?
My formula is:
=INDEX(Sheet1!C7:F9,MATCH(B7,Sheet1!B7:B9,0),MATCH(C6,Sheet1!C6:F6,0))
What do you mean by 'doesn't work'?
You get an error, the wrong result...?
