How to identify/reproduce a Fill colour

    Hi All,

I'd like to find a way I can change multiple cell colours all at once. I have a game with multiple backgrounds and I'd like a way of changing all the cells to the same colour as a master cell, or the number in a master cell, so different game sets can be identified by different background shades. I know this might be possible with conditional formatting but can't see a way.

So in summary, I change the colour in cell A1 and all other selected cell colours change to match.

    Thanks in advance.

small macro code in sheet module
format A1 cell fill colour or format font colour this will be replicated in any selected cell or range.

Thanks Torachan. When I said "selected cells", I didn't literally mean that. If I had already selected all the cells that needed doing, I could simply change them in the main menu. I'll test your formula but can you add a way of adding multiple ranges to a sheet?

So what we have here is pretty cool. I select a cell colour and font colour in a1, and any further cell I click becomes that same format. The macro is running all the time so it's like the Midas touch! What I need is when I change A1, pre-selected cells follow the same colour.
I will upload the workbook if I can figure out how to do it.

This is so each set of gamecards can be a different colour to easily identify a set.
This isn't commercial in any way, its for a street party!

I know I have gone a long way around producing these by using sheets but I'm not advanced enough to do anything more clever!
