I have a worksheet with students grades which i extracted using = from another sheet. why is my countif formula though correct, it only returns a zero.
Have tried to change the grades as letters instead of the original = formula yet still doesnt work. Pls advise. Thanks a million.
There is a space after A+ like this "A+ " in your original data.
1. Remove it, (better) from your original data
or
2. Use =COUNTIF($E$3:$E$27,"A+ ") instead (messy and will catch you out endlessly).
