Several Line Graphs w/ Drop Down List

    Morning All,

I have a list of products and their monthly sales for the past 24 months which I want to individually put into line graphs.

But, I want to use a drop down box to choose the individual product/line graph.

I have attached an example of the data I am working with.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many Thanks
    Ross

    Andy,

Thanks for this. Near enough exactly what i'm after. ( was after two lines for this year / last year sales but i didnt say that originally) :p

Could you please explain how you did this?

I am a novice when it comes to anything non-standard on excel

    Thanks Again,
    Ross

nothing in there that is not standard

I have change the example given the extra detail on what you wanted,

Cell C14 contains a data validation list of the descriptions. use ribbon Data > Data tools > Data Validation

Cell B14 contains a formula that locates the position of the selected item

    B14: =MATCH(C14,C2:C6,0)

This row position is then used in the cells E14:P15 to return the values for each period

    E14: =INDEX(D$2:D$6,$B$14)
