Dear all,
I work with some stock index data and I would like to get rid of some dots and empty spaces etc. I used conditional formatting and changed the font color of all the values I need. When I try to sort them based on font color (in order to delete the empty spaces/dots) Excel does not do it. "Go to...conditional formatting" also doesn't work. Any ideas?

Indeed, that is what I would like to accomplish
You can delete them pretty quickly with a helper Column.
In C3: =if(isnumber(B3),1,1/0)
And then copy it down
Then select C3:C7588, hit F5, click Special.. and then choose Formulas, and unselect Numbers, Text, and Logicals.
Hit Okay. This selects the formulas that created errors.
Now go up to the toolbar and click the Delete dropdown in the Cells area. Choose Delete Sheet Rows.
Bam, no more bad rows.
