HELP Needed: Conditional Formatting Issue on Gantt Chart

    Hi All:

I'm having an issue trying to make a formula work for conditional formatting. I want to create a "progress" bar for my gantt chart, and at one point it did work for the Baseline Task items, but has since stopped working and it never worked for the Actual Task items, even though the code is identical except for the qualifier A or B. Any help would be most appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Julie

Hi Riderz: Thank you for your reply and providing your file. Can you explain how I use your file and how your conditional formatting rules might apply to mine? I am very grateful for your help.

    Best,
    Julie

Re: HELP Needed: Conditional Formatting Issue on Gantt Chart

    hey Julie
i check again your file for the progress bar it's working you have no problem in it, the idea of the progress bar in conditional format is : date = date then format boarder , i upload my file in order to let you to see how is it working and maybe you can take some ideas from my file , i think you should include in your file start start, finish start activity i stopped working on my file . in my file you should input your data in input worksheet ( required date for activity , then date in cell : s.f or s.s or f.s , then you will have the output in the output chart work sheet . sorry this is what i can help im not pro in excel to help much

    regards

Re: HELP Needed: Conditional Formatting Issue on Gantt Chart

Hi Riderz: Thank you again! Yes, I think your file is very good especially for using SF, SS or FS constraints within the project schedule. I will try to integrate this into my spreadsheet! I will check my file again for the progress bar... it did work at one point so I don't know why it's not working on my end. Thank you for all your help and for showing me new ways to add to the Gantt chart! Much appreciated! Best to you! Julie
