Formula for sum of marks with auto condolation

Dear all,
i have an excel worksheet which contains subject marks and their totals. The total of five subject is shown in total column. But we have a criteria for passing or failing of student. I.e. If the student gets minimum of 35 marks in each subject or above he is declared as pass and the total marks shows the sum of all five subject. But in some cases student are failed due to having 10 or 15 marks LESS on over all subjects. Therefore the criteria of condolation is applied.in condolation the student can get help of maximum of20 marks in free.but if having 20 marks extra are not sufficient then he will be failed.
